Life is a journey, a well traveled road

And what happens next is yet to be told

We are led down this path but given a choice

Right or wrong our decisions we must voice

Life is a story about the good and the bad

As it is told, we wonder how it will end

Once it has happened we can't change our past

But we can hope in our hearts the memories will last

Life's about love, joy, and happiness

To get to the end, you must forget all the sadness

We must remember our friends and our family

Are what we live for and give for happily

And as the sands of time slip through our hands

We gotta step back and check out what's in it

Don't blink or you'll miss it; it'll all be gone

Remember Where You Came From!

Sometimes we get caught up in the busyness of our lives

Doing what we do and knowing we'll get by

Forgetting that without Him we can't take another breath

Let alone get through the day without His grace

Without Him leading our steps

We need to stop and think of where we came from

And know where we could be

Don't think that we're above falling

But know if we do, He will be

The only one to forgive and forget

Don't you know He will carry us through

And when it's all done and said

He'll still say I Love You

You can do all the right things and say all the right words

But know in your heart the only one you're really gonna hurt

Don't think yourself so perfect that you don't need anyone else

To help you make it through the day, You can't do it

No you can't do it by yourself

We need to stop and think of where we came from

And know where we could be

But know if we do that He will be
